TheUniversity is seeking to support 4 of our own recent graduates on an internshipprogramme designed to bring the benefits of our graduates experiences to ournew students in September.
In 4 ofthe University’s Academic Schools we will be offering an internship to agraduate from that school (Graduating Class of 2011):
Basedat the City Campus:
* University of WolverhamptonBusiness School
* School of Art & Design
Basedat the Walsall Campus:
* School of Education
* School of Sport Performing Arts& Leisure
Internshipsare an opportunity for a recent graduate to integrate their recent Universityexperiences with practical, supervised work experience.
Internswill receive an internship allowance – equivalent to £13,203 p/a.
(Pro-ratathis is approximately £250.00 per week before any deductions)
TheInternship Programme will operate for an eight month period from 1stAugust 2011 to the end of March 2012.

Thecovering statement should be a short piece of approx 500 words setting out whyyou would be suitable for this internship opportunity, what skills andqualities you would bring to the programme and one piece of advice that youwould give to a new student starting in September based on your experience atthe University.
Applicationswill only be accepted from graduates who have completed their studies in thisacademic year and are from one of the four Academic Schools identified.
Applicationsshould be submitted by 30th June for shortlisting.
Successfulcandidates for interview will be notified by the following week withinterviews, as required, to take place in the week commencing Monday 18thJuly (to be confirmed). Ready for you to start on Monday 1stAugust.
